Privacy policy.

Last updated · July 2026

This policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit this site. Our goal is to be straightforward: we collect very little, we ask before we track anything, and we don't sell your data.

What we collect and when

Before you accept cookies: server log data only. Like most websites, our server records standard log information for every visit: IP address, browser type, referring page, request path, and timestamp. This is kept for short-term troubleshooting and security and is not tied to any analytics profile.

After you accept: anonymous analytics. If you click Accept in our cookie notice, we load privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors move through the site (which pages they read, where they came from, what they click). This data is aggregated and never used to identify you personally.

If you click Decline:nothing else. No analytics load, no tracking values are set, and no events are sent. Your choice is remembered on this device so you won't be asked again.

What we store in your browser

  • kn-ck-consent: remembers your Accept / Decline choice so you're not asked again on this device. Set on first visit, after you click either button.
  • kn-ck-analytics: whether anonymous analytics may run. Set only by your choice, in the notice or on this page's Cookie Preferences.

No advertising, retargeting, or third-party social pixels load on this site, ever.

How to change your mind

Click Cookie Preferences in the footer at any time: the notice reopens and you can flip your choice. It applies immediately.

How long we keep it

Server logs are rotated within 30 days. Analytics data is aggregated and kept only as long as we need it to understand readership. There is no account system and no e-commerce on this site, so we keep no customer database here.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone. The tools we use to run the business see only what they need to do their job.

Patient data is different

For medical practices we work under a signed Business Associate Agreement. Protected health information lives in HIPAA-compliant systems, is touched only by the people doing the work, and never appears in analytics, marketing, or this website. Your data stays yours, always.

Your rights

If you're in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you. Because we don't maintain a customer database for this site, in most cases there is nothing on our end to request. If you'd like confirmation in writing, email us and we'll send it.
